You can listen to this album from the first song to the last song and never be bored. With the state music is in nowadays that itself speaks volumes I believe.

If you took Hatebreed's entire catalog of music, picked out all the best riffs, drumbeats, moments, etc... , and distilled that down into one great album Costs is what you'd get. The songs don't all sound so similar that you aren't sure if you've come upon a new track conversely they don't sound so dissimilar that you are no longer sure you're listening to the same band. It's exciting, it gets you moving, gets your blood pumping. Most of all it's entertaining.

If you are looking for a delicious hardcore cake with some metalcore frosting then you've come to the right heavy metal bakery.

Gideon is one of a few of my favorite metal bands to hit the metal scene in recent years, alongside the likes of such bands as Leaders, We The Gathered, Altars, and The Burial. Mixing brutal metal and uplifting lyrics, they're definitely my type of metal! If you're into quality, heavy hitting, ear splitting metal music...these guys are a pretty cool ticket. Milestone is also a great album! Check em out!

This band is one of the best hardcore/metalcore bands I've heard in a long time. Every song is incredible to listen to. Right off the bat, the album has a dark and foreboding feel with the title track. Vocalist Daniel McWhorter sounds eerily similar to Jamey Jasta of Hatebreed (another reviewer mentioned their similarity to Hatebreed), which is in no way a bad thing I should mention. Every song will leave you needing a neck brace. The band also has great lyrics with a great Christian message. If you are into any form of hardcore or metal, be sure to pick this one up. You will not be disappointed!

Gideon's metalcore sounds brutal, melodic, and uplifting at the same time. I have listened to several brutal/melodic metalcore bands and Gideon does stand out from among them. if you like metalcore, by all means get this band. not only do I recommend Gideon, but War of Ages, Chariot, Killswitch Engage, Hero Destroyed, Autumn Offering, Norma Jean, Zao, Haste the Day, First Blood, For Today, Coalesce, Arise and Ruin, Cataract, Underoath, Jamies Elsewhere, As I Lay Dying, Demon Hunter, August Burns Red, This Or the Apocalypse, Showdown, Thy Will Be Done, Unearth, Oh Sleeper, Kill What I Adore, Ascendicate, Advent,Deception of a Ghost, Trivium, Plea For Purging, Hope For Home, and Inhale Exhale as well. my point is that metalcore fanatics should snap this up. Gideon is another band that serves up notice that metalcore is never going to go out of style.
