About the Author
Born in 1955, Suzanne Gousse is a consultant, member of the Costume Society of America, recreating the clothing of New France for museums, historic sites and "living history" reenactors. She was trained in "haute-couture" and theatrical costuming. She also works now as a professionnal historical interpreter. Andre Gousse, co-author, is a former Military Curator for Parks Canada's National Historic Sites.
