Great so far!,

This book starred at our beach house this summer. Although I've only made two recipes so far, others have also cooked from it with great success. The recipes are simple and the ingredients are often on the shelf or easily found. at the local grocery. Many recipes are reminicent of comfort foods and camping trips, but current ingredients are used as well. Good organization, nice recommended menus, clear instructions, a pleasant read. I jotted down five recipes to tide me over until I could get home to order the book.

I love, love, love this cookbook. Out of over 200 cookbooks in my home this is the one I turn to for everyday food AND entertaining over and over again. The jambalaya is so good. The artichoke dip is wonderful and easy. There are extra tips and suggestions on every page that are inspiration for making the recipes your own. If I could only own one cookbook - without a doubt this would be it. I had a little party this week and wanted finger food. The couscous looked great so I put it in halved baby tomatoes and it was so yummy. I have had this book for many years and never even noticed that recipe before. Thank you Jane Rodmell your book inspires me every time I open it.
