You will look very spiffy in your captain??s cap. The crown is padded, to give you a rich look of importance, and the patch of gold anchors stitched against a black background will surely win you command of the seas. The crown is outfitted with 2 metal air vents on each side, and the hatband is covered in fabric with leaf stitching in a subtle black on black, with a brilliant gold rope detail across the front of the hatband fastened to the sides of the hat with matching gold relief buttons. Made of 100% twill cotton. The 2 inch bill is covered in matte plastic, and fabric lined on the underside. SIZES range from S, M, L, XL to fit every captain??s head. Imported.

I ordered this cap as a gift for a friend of mine, and I almost ordered one for myself. After receiving the hat, I definitely wish that I would have! I looked many places over the internet to find a similar hat and tried Amazon.com just on a whim. I came to find out that this was not only the lowest price hat, I could also order it fitted. The fitted size is extremely accurate. The quality, fit, and look of the cap are fantastic. I am absolutely 100% satisfied with my purchase, and I will be ordering a few more (including one for myself). As I said, other sites that sell only hats did not have anything of similar quality - not to mention they were well over twice the price. You will not find a better deal or better product as far as I am concerned. Also, you get the reliability of ordering something through Amazon.com. Meaning you have a reputable source, easy of transaction, and security. If you are not happy with the cap, put it back on the site... I'll probably buy it.

Just a heads up.

This hat is not in any way adjustable. The sizing chart link here on Amazon does not work, it simply tells you to contact the seller for sizing information.

The price is fair enough, the quality is good but sizing the hat correctly will be very difficult. I ordered a large and I wear a 7 1/4". I found the hat tight although that is what I found recommended at the merchant's web site.

Also the hat no longer comes in a box as one reviewer stated.
