The wooden sticks on these swabs break frequently. There is not much cotton on the tip. The 6 inch version work much better.

I'm a licensed esthetician and I order these cotton swabs for extractions. They are perfect for this purpose and it's great that they come in this plastic case too. I've ordered other types of cotton swabs like this for extractions, but I haven't found any that I like better than this.
