If you ever wanted to read the Holy Scriptures and laugh to tears, this "translation" is it! The funniest thing is that it was done in all seriousness! I don't know anything about the author (Clarence Jordan), but if he was still around I would send him $20 for the entertainment he provided me.
This book "domesticates" the new testament. Jesus is from Atlanta and He is Black. Enough said...
