4.0 out of 5 stars It's Just A Number, December 26, 2009

This review is from: Cougar Tales (Perfect Paperback)
We have to learn not to sweat the small stuff and dwell on the happiness we find in relationships. The three novellas in COUGAR TALES give insight to the growing trends of younger men dating older women.

How to Handle A Woman by Sandra Kitt, divorcee, Geneva meets the perfect gentleman while attending a charity auction at her nephew's school. The six years difference between Bradley and Geneva is a brick wall, even with the amazing chemistry they have between them. Each time Bradley cracks the wall, Geneva finds a reason to re-seal it, leaving Bradley wondering how to handle this lady.

Against Her Better Judgement, written by Evelyn Palfrey tells the story of no nonsense, always alone, work alcoholic Judge Beverly Polk. Beverly says she can take care of herself and resents having the handsome thirty-five year old Devon as her bodyguard, and invading her personal space. But when he starts to invade her dreams, the judge begins to question the decisions she has made.

In Stormy Weather by Laura Castoro, we find Beverly Freeman excited about the birth of her first granddaughter. Beverly wonders where the smoothing voice is coming from and whose voice is it? Off duty fireman, Will, was her saving grace. Months later, after the birth of her grandchild and she returns to work, Beverly cannot forget the smoothing voice and the golden eyes. Yes, he is younger but, doesn't she deserve some happiness?

The stories in COUGAR TALES are great romances, those of us who are unsure about being a cougar will enjoy. They may help you say yes or no to a younger man; after all age is only a number. What's in your heart?

I love Sandra Kitts if not for her. I would never have read the book. It was boring and so slow.

3.0 out of 5 stars Slightly Disappointed, November 29, 2009

Out of the 3 stories, the one by Laura Castoro was my favorite. With that said, DID ANYBODY PROOFREAD THIS BOOK? All the stories had errors, but it seems every other paragraph in Sandra Kitt's story had errors. It made (the errors) for difficult reading.
