These boots are cheery, but the opening is not as wide as advertised. I don't have wide calves but they're very snug, and downright uncomfortable with jeans tucked in. I think the reported circumference was measured around the sock, rather than in the actual opening. A shame, because they are quite cute.

so i bought these boots last week and they came and i tried them on and they were a little snug so i returned them. thank god i returned them because i went to century 21 the same day that i took them to the ups store and they were 20.00 cheaper!! ugh i was soooo pist but relieved!

These boots are functional and fashionable- a great combination! They keep your feet exceptionally warm and dry, perfect for rainy days or any time you need to go tromping about through puddles and mud. There is enough room at the tops of the boots to tuck in most pants, and they still fit snugly around the feet. My only suggestion is to wear thick socks, as thinner socks and ankle socks tend to slide off your heels a bit, making the walk a bit less comfortable. All in all, I would definitely recommend these boots.

The socks come out all the time. It's kind of annoying. I should have read the reviews carefully before i have bought it.

I love these boots!! They are super cute, durable, and extremely warm!! I can imagine some people might find the opening way too tight but they fit snug for me which is great because they keep my feet warm and dry in a crazy raining day! To give you reference I wear size 2-4 jeans and I don't have problem with tucking in my skinny jeans. I can't tuck my bootcut jeans in those though.. but really I don't wear bootcut with any boots I have anyways because that just doesn't look good!!

I do not have large calves but these boots fit tight around the top. i could not get my skinny jeans into them easily. They also did not feel very warm, I bought them thinking they would be warmer than my normal rubber boots. Do not waste your money!

I bought these boots for my wife because she's wanted a pair of red rain boots for a while. She LOVES them! They are really comfy, and as she says, bright and cheery. The only problem with them is that they do not have an adjustable strap on the side or back to adjust for the calf size. My wife is a runner and soccer player and has slightly larger calves than most. She liked the way they fit in the foot, but they are too tight around the calf, so we had to send them back. Great boot, but it needs adjustment at the calf.
