I've enjoyed a number of Linda O. Johnston's Alpha Force tales in the Harlequin Nocturne series, and this one is no exception. Because this is a "Nocturne Bites" it is shorter than a novel, so the story doesn't get involved with a particular Alpha Force mission beyond Brett's attempt at recruiting Cougar Shifter Gwynn to join the group of covert operatives. The action focuses mostly on Gwynn's conflict with her family, as well as the romantic relationship between her and Brett. Highly recommended.
