I cracked up on the first page I read! "If your goal is to get a phone number when you go out to a bar, close this book, smack yourself in the head with this book, then open it back up to this page. We are trying to get laid when we go out!" LOL! The book is definitely a good read, and I rarely take the time to post one these reviews. The guy-tips were great, and the stories that follow some of the tips are hilarious. Oh yeah, the guy rummaging tent to tent at that campground late at night looking for a chick to bang was freakin hilarious. Great book.

I was curious about the wingman tips; they are in there, but the stories were the best part of this book. This dude writes some pretty funny stuff. The random encounters with some of the women he meets are priceless. He really is a babe-hound. I wish some of the stories were longer, but I guess that's how brief encounters are. The wingman tips in the beginning are so-so, but once I got to the stories in the 2nd half of the book, I couldn't put it down. Makes we want to be single again...

This book is excellent, I loved reading it, the stories are extremely funny. I actually read it in one sitting. It is filled with great real life bar stories of hooking up with random hot chicks. Told from a southern california dude point of view, it is very easy to relate to as it uses real life examples in each section instead of just telling you to "be confidant or be more outgoing." I actually hooked up with a chick the very next night after I read this book, call it coincidence but Im pretty sure reading the book played a big part in reading her signals and bieng able to close the deal. I highly reccomend reading this book!

I liked this book a lot. It was hard to put down, and more than once I found myself laughing out loud. I wish there were more books like this...vivid and authentic tips on picking up women. But the guy's personality is what really comes through: this guy really loves picking up on women. Some of the stuff that happens to Conroy is very funny. I read the book then gave it to my co-worker and him and I are always bringing up funny things from this book. Note of caution, some of the stories are a little crude, but like I said, I liked it a lot.

I've read I Hope They Serve Beer In Hell by Tucker Max and this book. Love them both but I thought this one was actually funnier. This guy's stories of chasing women are very funny! The little tricks he reveals for picking up women are pretty clever too. I really liked the last story/chapter; I went out partying with my buddies all weekend and thought of this book the whole time.

I really enjoyed this book. Greatly entertaining. It is not often that I laugh out loud; this book made me laugh out loud. I could read stories about picking up girls in nightclubs until my ears fall off. The author tells stories and talks from a perspective that I can relate to, that's why I liked it.

Here is a complete review (I just finished reading it today.) First of all, the title should be: 101 Essential Wingman Tips, not the Cougars, Poptarts, etc. 80% of the book is advice for the single man. All of the tips seem to be smart advice, a few I really want to try. The other 20% are examples of the author using those tips to get laid. Yeah! Very good stories! This is the part of the book I didn't want to stop reading. The Hair Show Circuit story is all-time! Over the last two weeks the book has got a lot of attention on our coffee table. Both my roommates have read excerpts. Everyone that comes over reads a little and it's a great conversation starter.

I happened across this book on Amazon as I had a $100 gift card and liked the cover so I bought it. Started reading it later that night as I needed some new light reading for the bathroom. I couldn't put the book down as I finished it late into the night and could have kept on reading more and more stories if only the book were a little longer. These stories had everything - humor, wit, lot's of sex, and a few new ideas that I have now started to use in my own repetoire. The only negative thing that I can say about the book is that the stories are so good, and so many, that I can't help but think that some of this stuff has to be made up? Anyway - some great stories and very entertaining. This is the sort of book that will hit big when one of the radio stations finds out about the stories inside and then it will be HUGE!

Kind of similar to The Game by Neil Strauss, but a little raunchier. It was not as scientific or meticulous as The Game, but still had some very good insight on picking up women. I've read a good number of advice books for men and this guy's stuff stands alone. There are definitely chapters with some original ideas. I could have done without the lewd stories but I still enjoyed the book.

Read this on the plane last week and the guy next to me must've thought I was looney...I was cracking up the whole way through. I can see why this author meets a lot of women. He is very good at recognizing females in the mood to be...let's say naughty. The guy is really witty and determined, a very good combination! Many good tips and codes to live by here. I rarely give this high of a rating, and I rarely agree with other reviews, but these are spot on. Great all around non-fiction book for guys.
