Once again a very impressive, well written, interesting story from Mr. Sewell. This story has a great story line (not to mention the HOT HOT love scenes). I enjoyed this book and couldn't put it down. The author has a way of developing his characters and keeping you interested from beginning to end. Great job! Keep them coming.

If your perception of players is philandering men, COUGARS by Earl Sewell may put a sizable dent in that perception. Forty-three year old Jasmine Sallie is beautiful, confident and in touch with who she is. She works hard, but she plays harder. This Renaissance woman has charted a non-typical road to, dare I say, romance? She and her three running partners have a sweet tooth for younger men, and they take no prisoners.

On the job scene, Jasmine is the director of a pharmaceutical research team. Her team has been tasked to create a female sexual enhancement drug and Jasmine is too excited, but they need another chemist. The new addition to the team, Travis Adams, is equally as brilliant and quite handsome. Jasmine does not like mixing work with play, but her penchant for younger men ignites a sizzling affair that has the potential for dangerous consequences; Travis preys on cougars.

The team creates a prototype, but it gets shelved because of its fatal side effects. Travis, who has always envisioned the notoriety of Albert Einstein, becomes impatient. As his entanglement with Jasmine becomes jaded, his ambitious dream manifests itself. Travis secretly keeps experimenting until he creates a new and improved formula that hits the black market, but the drug has not been fully tested. It produces a lethal impact; a politician dies, a criminal investigation is launched, and Travis disappears. With incriminating evidence pointing to her, Jasmine finds herself waist-deep in the fallout.

COUGARS is a different twist to an intriguing story of sex, drugs, double-cross, and betrayal. I found the characters engaging, and although their actions were risky, they were believable. Their motives helped readers visualize some of the potent scenes. Sewell candidly shares the flip side of the player's game, which makes for a good plot, a plausible story and a thought provoking read. This one had me shaking my head.

Another hit by Earl Sewell!! I have read all his books and they are all great! This is another cant put down! He has such a way of drawing you into the story and feeling you know the characters on a personal level! I got the book and the third day i was done with it! I highly recommend it!! You will love it! and if you havent had the pleasure of reading any of his other books i would start with Cougars! Keep em come'n Earl!

Cougars was a very interesting read. I enjoyed all of the characters and I felt pretty bad for Jasmine at the end. Goes to show you can't trust your heart with everyone. Good work Mr. Sewell. You never disappoint me!

What else do you want of a book that is streaming with sensuality and loaded with mystery. A great read and absolute MUST for everyone who is into "cougar" literature like me!

I liked this book because it played out like a CSI episode in my mind, but with a very sexy twist. i liked it because it was not so predicatable (as in, each page turn did not result in the characters clothes falling off and they in turn falling into each other!) There was an actual story that was believable,and that is good enough for me.

Jasmine Sallie is a beautiful chemist who loves younger men. She is also a director of a pharmaceutical research team that is trying to create a female sexual enhancement drug. Things get a little steamy at the office when a young chemist name Travis Adams joins the research team. Travis and Jasmine begin a spicy affair that could lead to disastrous results. They soon develop a drug that's so dangerous that it gets shelved. But Travis isn't willing to give up so easily. He makes a stronger and more potent formula that has deadly consequences. Soon things spiral out of control and Travis and Jasmine's lives are changed forever.

Cougars is a sexy page-turner by Earl Sewell. This story is much more than your average May-December relationship drama. The character development is one of the things that made this novel stand out. Jasmine and Travis being chemists on a pharmaceutical research team brought a very unique twist to this book. Sewell did an excellent job with providing enough information in regards to their careers without losing the reader. This book wouldn't be complete without a healthy dose of sex and a shocking turn of events that will definitely keep your attention. Earl Sewell provided the perfect mix of sex, mystery, and murder with Cougars.

This was my first book by Earl and I must say that I was extremely impressed! I loved the storyline and the plot was extremely intriguing! I loved how he developed his characters and the visualization that was created by the story. I could see the beautiful Jasmine Sallie as she strolled into the different scenes that this author created. The plot had me so interested that I read the book in two days on my recent trip to a convention in Ohio. Half on the plane ride there and the other half on the way back. This book is a must read and I would definitely read another novel from this talented author! - 5 Stars
