This book is apparently intended to get the uninitiated into "MLM" generally and "Nutrition for Life" specifically. While some chapters hype the value of the product itself (one goes so far as to claim that the medical benefits achieved were better than a patient received at the Mayo Clinic) [pg. 350], many other chapters teach tactics for bringing more people into the company -- typical pyramid scheme fare. As usual, emphasis is more on getting others into the fold than on actually selling the product. To quote the book: "Seven percent of the American population has an interest in...network marketing. Your mission is to find them." [pg. 326] As with all pyramid schemes, the majority of those entering will lose money. In fact, the company has already had to settle charges of running an illegal pyramid scheme brought by at least 8 States, ranging from Hawaii to New Jersey. [St. Paul Pioneer Press, 7/17/96, pg. 3C] Save yourself a lot of trouble and money: Avoid the book.

This book tries to recruit people into Nutrition for Life, which has a stairstep breakaway program. It is a hard program for the part-timer and few people have the time or energy to do this business on a full-time basis. They know that the business has been flat and looking for new prospects. Save your money on this turkey!

Anyone reading this book and possible re-reading it must come out with a "Value Added" to their lifes. How anyone could come away with negative thoughts and comments is beyond comprehension. I believe that this book will change the lifes of thousands.

I have a hard time understanding the negative reviews for this book. Either they haven't read it,or have no ability to feel good about anything. Whether or not you are positive about network marketing or not,you can't come away from reading this without feeling inspired to do good in your life, despite all set backs. How can that be bad? I judge people and books after taking a good look, not before. What we need is more Dayle Maloneys in this negative world of ours to give us hope to keep trying, regardless of what people say or do.

When I read the stories in this book, I laughed, I cried and was very touched emotionally. Dayle Maloney is someone who I feel all people could benefit from, by following his examples and advice on how to approach lifes challenges and to just become a better person overall. The testamonies by so many others who he has touched and inspired are just so awesome and uplifting. I have bought several copies of this book and I am passing it around. I know this book can change lives, like it has mine. Truly the best book I have read in years and years.

I know Dayle Maloney, for about 9 years. I am in Nutrition For Life and have had the opportunity to meetDayle and be trained by Him. The book is one of the best, It is about people not just Dayle and about the Industry of Network marketing. And how it has changed lives all over the World.I could say something about the not so positive comments, but why shouldI, they do not know what they are talking about. We are not a breakaway, & we are a 15 yr. old public Company. Thanks for writing the book Dayle. God Bless You.
