I love I could never take the place of your man.. It's a really good song. BUT... if all you want is the ballad, I suggest you buy the whole Jordan Knight CD because that song is there along with all of Jordan's awesome music.. and yes all the songs on "Jordan Knight" are beautiful and awesome. The reason why I gave this CD 5-stars is because the remixes on here are hella tight! Usually, I think that ballad remixes are really cheezy, but this one really works. Besides that, the club mix of Give it to you is really really good. Trust me, it's not the same you would be suprised. 5-stars goes to the mixers on this one.

Typically, fast remixes of ballads sound contrived, but this one really works. If you like the song as it normally is, these remixes will only further your enjoyment of Jordan's great version of Prince's song.

I know I'm going to get beat up by the Intergalactic Alliance of Prince Supporters, but I'm gonna' say it anyway!!!! This version is WAY BETTER than Prince's version. There. I said it. Don't believe me? Listen to both of them sometime, and judge for yourself. If you still don't believe me, TOUGH! It's better, and that's that.

This song is one of my favorites. This single is a must have. This song takes my heart away. I can just Imagine Jordan singing to me. I recommend anyone this single.

This was the second single release from Jordan Knight's first solo (self-titled) album, and I have to say, it's fantastic!

It's a cover of Prince's 1987 hit, but slowed to a stunning and soulful pace to create an incredible ballad Jordan must be very proud of! In case you never caught Prince's version (where were you?!), it's a song about him meeting a woman who's recently split from her man and obviously wants him to take the ex's place, but he refuses saying he could never give her what she needs. A real tear-jerker of a song! (And I have to agree with that other reviewer, WAY better than Prince's version - sorry!!). The video to the song was actually featured on MTV's "Making The Video" and is brilliant! (And very hot in parts!)

The remixes also on the single are fab! Very nice work indeed!
