Shocked disappointed, April 7, 2002
This review is from: Couldn't Get It Right (Audio CD)
With "A lot of bottle" no longer available,Ive
tried to make do with getting all the tracks
ammassed through compilations.But,when my copy
of this arrived,I was ready to enjoy REAP WHAT
IVE SOWED when gasp, the entire middle section,
THE lead solo of bottleneck slide.....EDITED
OUT!... was I upset! ONE more complaint, the
track Hey Baby Everthings Gonna Be Alright Yeah
Yeah Yeah sounds really suspicous, like its been
speeded up,(time compressed?)and vocal removed
with a strange piano part that didnt seem to fit
Other than these 2 misrepresentations the rem-
ainder of the tracks sound great!

Blues Band? Who cares! It's great music!, May 25, 2003
By A Customer
As per usual, Repertoire's mastering job is great. The music is is diverse - ranging from straight-out blues to the pop smash, COULDN'T GET IT RIGHT. STILL, all of this music sounds at home on the same disc. If you want a single disc compilation of tight, bluesy, British rock, LOOK NO FURTHER. Snap this up.

Couldn't Get Right --Climax Blues Band, December 2, 2008
This is not the Climax Blues Band I remember.? All the tracks here are remastered or reworked in some way & in doing so have been altered from the original. The only song here that sounds good is Couldn't Get it Right. The cuts from a Lot of Bottle & Tightly Knit are badly redone. If you want to hear the real CBB get the original CDs A Lot of Bottle or Tightly Knit.
