This review is from: Counseling the Homosexual: A Compassionate and Accurate Guide for Pastors and Counselors a (Paperback)
When my husband of 20 years began having an identity crisis problem I found the information in this book to be helpful in dealing with his feelings of homosexuality. We did infact split in the end but the split was much cleaner than it might have been had I not found this book. There is an arizona resource helpline that also assisted me and recommended this book, they can be reached at 1-480-987-3979 or 1-480-831-6200, at the later number ask for Vicki.

Speaking the Truth in Love,

This review is from: Counseling the Homosexual: A Compassionate and Accurate Guide for Pastors and Counselors a (Paperback)
Real insight into this controversial watershed issue, backed up by experience and spoken with authority. Mike doesn't comprimise moral truths of scripture but teaches the compassionate approach we should take when discussing homosexuality, speaking the truth in love.

Helpful for many types of counseling,
By Kitty Tamura (Japan) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Counseling the Homosexual: A Compassionate and Accurate Guide for Pastors and Counselors a (Paperback)
This was an excellent book, well written and easy to understand. Originally I read it because I wanted to know how to help a person who was living a homosexual lifestyle. It helped me understand her a lot better, and I was able to relate to her in a way that enabled her to open up more. However, this book is not just useful for counseling and understanding the homosexual, but for all people who have any kind of sin, or ungodliness in their lives. Basically that means all of us at times! So this book has helped me with my own life, and with relating to others with problems other than homosexuality. I recommend it for everyone.

Do You See This Woman....,
By Rj (Michigan, United States) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Counseling the Homosexual: A Compassionate and Accurate Guide for Pastors and Counselors a (Paperback)
This is an excellent book on understanding a very difficult concept regarding homosexuality, when hearing the gay agenda and how come. For me, one can tell a book after its introduction with a very compelling statement, "Do you see this woman?" And this is why I recommend this book to anyone who is asking the difficult questions regarding homosexuality. From my point of view on this particular topic, Christians have a problem in which they either "know" morality and know how to preach morality yet never understand the person in what is declared a moral condition by Judeo-Christain standards OR Christians never bother to understand any psychology of any human being before the Bible-beating begins. Michael Saia's book helps people to know the difference between metaphysics and morals in which his foundation is laid.

A rational and balanced perspective.,

In a sea of misinformation and emotional "politically correct" but factually erroneous material, this book stands out as an example of no compromise on Spiritual, Behavioral, and Biological facts.
