`A subtitle to this book could well be "A Practical Guide", for at last we have an inexpensive, easily readable, well-indexed resource book for all involved in work where fertility issues may arise... the application of counselling models to fertility problems... should open new vistas and provide much food for thought for many working in all branches of women's health services, sexual health, urology and the newly emerging "well men" clinics. It is refreshing to find a book that seriously addresses "couple" and male fertility issues, the latter becoming all the more relevant with the increasing awareness of the poor quality of sperm as a factor contributing to infertility and the development of techniques involving single sperm insemination...
