Ok i know there is an influx of the hardcore/death/metal/grind crossover bands out now a days and i gotta say that i've heard alot of them that just sucked..mainly the vocalists have to carry the band in this genre of music..the band can be great but if the vocalist can't pull the vocals then it just doesn't work...Now this band has EVERYTHING i was looking for.the vocals are amazing, highs, lows, hardcores you name it they do it.it turned out much better than i though it would..if you're a fan of job for a cowboy, faceless, i wouldnt say black dahlia because theres a hint of hardcore with the breakdowns on this cd, but if you're a fan of the death/core crossover bands..i beg you please buy this cd now.you definatly won't be dissapointed. One of the best purchases i've made in 07 and there have been quite a few bad ones that i've bought just on word of mouth..but if i worked at your neighborhood record store and you came in and requested a good metal record i would highly reccomend this one and not worry about you coming back later that day to throw a brick through the window because you didnt like it. So all i can say is Buy this record.

Bring Me The Horizon's Count Your Blessings is a major improvement from their previously released EP This Is What The Edge Of Your Seat Was Made For. Some of the songs on CYB had been previously recorded live and in rough demos. The two instrumental tracks, Slow Dance and 15 Fathoms, Counting [which is also acoustic], are executed amazingly and show that BMTH aren't just five little teenagers with an electric guitar, but are also talented in the non-'br00tal' genre. I don't have any favorite tracks, because all of them are different in their own way and are all excellent.

this cd is soo much better than their last ep..and that was amazing. you should definately buy this cd. if you like this band, i would recommend with blood comes cleansing, abigail williams, and as blood runs black, as they somewhat relate to this band. and they're a few of my personal favorites =)
