Editorial Reviews

From School Library Journal

Gr 2-5--These series titles teach youngsters to count to 10 in a new language (Portuguese and Gaelic) and introduce a faraway country in the process. In Brazil, Haskins and Benson present an engaging look at this vast country through snippets of information about its people, products, and way of life. Bright colorful artwork accurately reflects the nation's lifestyles, landscapes, and wildlife. Readers are given a glimpse of the lush green of Ireland through the colorful pictures and simple text that touches upon the island's folklore, history, architecture, sports, and crafts. Both books include pronunciation guides for the numbers. Attractive additional purchases.

Although is fairly old. I think it was published in the 90's, it is still good. Short book with interesting info.
