I bought this CD (not here) without ever hearing anything off it. I had only heard one song by Pulp--"Like a Friend", on the Great Expectations soundtrack--before, but I loved that one so much and liked the price, considering it's 2 CDs, so I trusted my instincts and I'm so glad I did. I love this music; Pulp definitely has a unique sound, and Jarvis Cocker writes some really great lyrics. This is an all-in-all great CD set!

This is definetely one of the best ever. Music has gone downhill since the departure of the beatles, but pulp promise an amazing alternative. This album has a mixture of sort of slow tracks like 97 lovers, but also have amazing beat rhymes like countdown extended version. Although my favorite is don't you want me anymore? The whole album will definately have at least 3 or 4 that you like a lot, the rest will you will just like!
