Woohoo, can pre-order today, and can't wait for the July release!

Of course, in theory much of the material is available in blog format over the last several years of postings at the author's Long Tail blog, at
http://longtail.typepad.com/

But it will be valuable to see Anderson's thesis presented altogether and coherently and from a complete perspective, laid out in a book.

The web site was started with the intention to be (paraphrasing here) "a blog on its way to a book," and it is a sterling example of blog as nexus and conversation -- collecting many long tail examples, tidbits, and advances, pointing to other long tail pieces elsewhere; and as the center point where all long tail discussions are reflected. It is an authority as "all things long tail," and as the most consistent and thoughtful generator of "long tail theory," if such a field exists.

Actually, it *does* exist -- because this web site makes it a real field.

Anyway, just pre-order now.
