It is nice to be able to play a game that has a voice capability in game instead of having to deal with Ventrilo or Teamspeak. Also one thing i want to mention is when you buy this game here is a list of games that come with it and their ratings. (They dont tell you about a couple of them)

Counter Strike is the game that started it all. It is enjoyable to play and the graphics are fairly decent. If you want the most killer graphics then i suggest you get the Counter Strike Source Package. Condition Zero is a separate game not an addition pack. The reason i gave it 4 1/2 stars is because I have a slight problem of when i let go of a direction button (to go forward, backward, sideways). When i let go it keeps going for less than a second. Day Of Defeat 1.6 Is fun but some of the servers lag a lot. Deathmatch Classic is a really funny game. This is really old and it is funny to watch all these people walk around with frozen fake faces. Ricochet is an odd game of jumping on these pads and knocking people of the pads to me its pointless. All these games use the Steam platform which can be tedious. DEFINATLY DO NOT!!!!! BUY THIS GAME USED.It will not work. Also when you choose to join the 2000+ servers on CS 1.6 sometimes there is a server that has all these dumb pointless sounds that you have to download to join the server. Overall a neat game, even though it is old there are still tons of people who play it!

I gave this game a low rating, not because it is necessarily a bad game (I wouldn't know because I can't play it), but because if you buy a used game that has been registered on "Steam" then it won't let you play it. And since you have to register with Steam to play, then all used copies will suffer from this. My only option now is to go through the red tape that Steam customer service web site said I need to go through, in hopes to get the cd-key reset. I followed the instruction and still have not heard a thing after several days. I have bought many new games and have never had a problem playing them. The whole Steam client is a pain, even for the games that do work. It's just a long, un-necessary process to go through when you just want to fire up a game a play for a while. If you buy this game, I highly encourage you to buy a "new" copy.

First you actually get more games then listed as others have pointed out. Me and my roommate got a whole bunch of of our friends to get it with us since you get so much for $10. The graphics are outdated, but it doesn't really take away from the game play (plus it will run on old computers). The people talking about the internet connection issue, I think are just having issues with the fact that you have to activate the CD key online and download all the updates (which is done automatically). After you activate it you will not need the cd to play or even install later as all game files can be downloaded if needed later. You can play in offline mode if not connected to the internet but you will first have to activate the game and get the updates downloaded.

The games are great and this is a great value.

If the game wasn't making my computer have more problems than ever before, then it would probably be an excelent game. I play against the bots and yet the game tries to connect me to a internet connection like as if everyone that plays the game has to play on-line. We have to have some time to play it before we go on-line, so that we don't look like we just installed it. Not everyone has ten hours a day to play on-line games. If I tried to go on-line in order to play the game, people would kill me off so fast it would make my head spin, because they do nothing else,other than the on-line gaming.

Maybe looks old but this game Rules throught the world!


So cs rules! That's a fact. Maybe little old graphics but those doesn't make it worse. I think game is better than same game but newer graphs. So old graphs in this game rules too. I can't say how good this game is but everyone should try it. It's little old but playable. If you're mad about cz or cs (like me) It will make you cry if it doesn't work newer anymore. I get crazy if i can't play cs. So everyone should try this game. Good sound effects and Several maps are Great. Valve has made 1 mistake. It would be better if you don't have to keep Steam running when playing. It could got fps higher in the game.

Great Multi player gaming with friends or Swedish people. Or Russians. Or maybe Finnish people.

Good:
- Sound.
- Graph.
- VAC.
- No several bugs everywhere.
Bad:
- Hackers.
- You have to keep steam running all the time when playing.
- Hacks.
- Long game updating time after bought the game.

I gotta say that Valve is like god.

You can have your COD4's, your Splinter Cells, yor Rainbow Sixes....they don't compare at all to the simple, elegant if you will...Counter Strike...or Condition Zero. The original online fps really. Doesn't need great graphics. It's just rock solid gameplay.

If it wasn't for the cheats, online gaming would be even more fun.

I like servers that limit the teams to about 7 or 8 players each.

Juego increible Counter Strike ya va como 15 años en nuestras vidas y sigue siendo pasión de muchos gamers como yo. Sin embargo es mucho mejor comprarlo en Steam porque cuesta como un tercio.

The Steam engine will not allow you to register a previously used game. The seller and I didn't know this. The seller refunded my money without hassle.

This game is for those who love the fun of counter-strike, but cannot run the newest version of the game on an older PC. The system requirements are quite low, and the addition of the Steam service is great.

I had the game up and running in less than 1 hour. For those who don't have internet access, Counter-strike Condition Zero is a lot of fun too.

The low price of this package really makes this game a steal.
