My Granddaughter is 10 (4th grade) and she isn't much of a reader. I bought her this book because they are going to Washington DC this summer. She loved the book. You usually have to keep after her to read but not this book. She literally couldn't put it down. She has now read another book in the series & enjoyed that also.
