The book states that a woman can not raise a man. Of course she can love him , nurture him and bring him into adulthood. He will be an adult male, but he will not have the qualities of a man. There are significant moments between men and boys that help shape the boy into a man. A woman does not have these moments. Someone asked me why are these men leaving their children behind and my answer to them was that no man showed them how to be responsible for their children. These adults males were raised by women. The book makes this point clear with countless examples and studies. The man does not need to be the parent. He may be an older brother, cousin, neighbor, etc. Men have a responsibility to boys and they must commit to its fulfillment.

Eye opening, Jaw dropping and Factual! A must read to get a better understanding of what's happening to our young boys and why. We as adults must DO everything in our power to counter this conspiracy. It (the conspiracy) goes all the way back to the time of Moses when pharo put it a decree to kill EVERY Hebrew male. The Black Make is Intelligent, powerful, and a threat to our white males, and I'm not prejudice.
Thank you Dr.Kunfuju

Another great book for educators, parents, mentors, etc. to have in their arsenal. Easy read and a great reference material for anyone who works with kids or has kids. Dr. Kunjufu is on point in his assessment. Great read and a must read!

I bought this copy for my niece who was a first time mother last year on Mother's Day. She has the most adorable, smart and charming little boy and I think she was slightly overwhelmed with the prospect of raising him with his dad in today's society. She's a corrections officer in a state prison facility for women and said she read the book in one day. I've bought and given this book away to mothers' of boys probably a dozen times over the years. Funny thing is, I don't have any kids, just have mad love for our boys. Thank you Dr. Kunjufu for writing this series and thank you daddy for introducing me to it.
