I am a second grade teacher and I only had the book a few days and was able to incorporate it into to a lesson! The poems in this resource book are very "child friendly" and can be easily related to math lessons in time,graphing, fractions, shapes, etc. The book even includes some reproducibles in the back that can be used in conjuction with these poems and in your math lesson. Using this book is an easy way to include literature into math and have lessons that are well rounded. Buying this book was money well spent.
