I base much of my enjoyment of music on the images that come up in my mind while listening to it. Becuase of how raw and organic Diane Cluck sounds, I pick up on haunting, dark natural scenes that draw me in deep. Her voice makes me feel like I am sitting in blackened woods with American settlers and the natives trying to make a spritual agreement. This feeling comes most strongly from the song entitled "Sylvania". There is a calming sadness interlaced beneath it all. Her ability to make my mind flutter away from everyday thinking is outstanding!
