I would have to say this is Emerson Drive's best album to date. I own (and love) both of their other CD's, but this one rocks! I am listening to it constantly. I don't think that I will ever get sick of it. The lyrics of most of the songs is just so profound, and they just speak to me. If I had to pick a favourite song, it would be a tie between "Moments" and "Everyday Woman." These are both slower songs on the album, but the lyrics are just so poignant and it just gets to you nand makes you think. Also, the songs are even better when you hear them live, so if you get a chance to, see these guys in concert! I had the pleasure of seing them play at a small bar in town, and I think it's was more intimate than it would have been in a huge arena, so that made is so much better. I love this CD and would totally reccomend it to anyone! (Even if you're not a big fan of country music in particular)

While I've enjoyed E Drive's past two albums, this one takes their talents a step farther, defining their impact in the country arena. The songs, "A Good Man," "Moments" and "Countrified Soul" are my favorites, but it's not like they outshine the eight remaining songs. Each time I listen to the album, I get something different out of the songs. I'm certain this CD will be at the top of my listening stack for quite a while. BUY THIS ALBUM! It's worth every penny! And if you get the chance, see these guys live. So much energy and fun.

I was always impressed sense I purchased Emerson Drive's first album, the one with "Fall Into Me." I always hoped that they'd hit a boomtown and create another album. And they did! It's a smashing success!

The first track "A Good Man" has an addictive instrumental ring and explains he just wants to be remembered for being a good father, brother, neighbor, and a friend. The recent number one hit "Moments" is a terrific ballad with a powerful message. A homeless man saves a lost young man from commiting suicide on the East Street bridge. It's just upsetting that one of his band memmbers were actually killed from suicide after the release of this song. My favorite track "You Still Own Me" says that no matter what he does, she is always in his mind. There is also a remake of the Charlie Daniels band's single "The Devil Went Down to Georgia" which even made me like the original version, too.

Countridied is a smashing hit from 2006, and I hope the Canadian country music group makes more albums in the USA.

Emerson Drive are back and better than ever. I started listening to "modern" country when I got the CMT channel in 2004, I had only heard two songs from Emerson Drive (Last One Standing and November) LOS was really good, wasn't crazy about November, but then they disappeared before I had a chance to form a solid opinion on them. I always thought they were good though. I saw them then at FanFare in Nashville TN in 2005 when they did a free concert outside downtown, they did great. I sang along with Last one standing and even November, I almost met Brad Mates but didn't, cuz I really would have had nothing to say. Got a good picture though! Can't wait until I see them at FanFare this year and then at a county fair in July.

Anyway, then they came back with "A Good Man" which was very good, and Moments.. WOW, LOVE that song and that VIDEO, it is the BEST!! (It is doing excellent on the Charts, and should be at 1 in no time!) So I had to buy the CD and as I suspected it is FANTASTIC! I wish I could give it 10 stars.

My fav's are "Moments" "Sweet Natural Girl" "Countified Soul" and "Testify". The rest are stellar too, the vocals are top notch, and they did really good with Charlie's "Devil Went Down To Georgia". Brad Mates rocks. His vocals are out of this world, a good song to prove that is "A Boy Becomes A Man" My least fav is "Everyday Woman". But the CD is great, one of the best. Teddy Gentry did a great job producing it. I listen to this CD VERY often!!

This groups talent is out of this world. They will be around for a long time to come! They are back and better than ever, and this time, they ain't goin' anywhere!

Emerson Drive is an amazing band and this album is filled with heart warming songs that touch the soul. You can't help but sing along to songs that speak of true American family values with traditional country flare!

It's true. I unanimously agree with the other reviewers that this is sweet music. It is very hard to find such a cd that you don't skip tracks. I'm not really big on Charlie Daniels band, but the instrumental on this song is done spectacularly. It brings a whole freshness to this old song. I literally can listen to every song on this album.
If I had to nail down favorites they would be: "Moments", "Everyday Woman", "A Boy Becomes A Man", "Lucky Man", and "Painted Too Much Of This Town." I was really surprised by "Painted Too Much Of This Town." The title suggested that it would be a filler track. Not so! Not so!

This album is amazing. I heard "Moments" about 2 years ago while trucking and loved it. I hesitated picking this album up simply because I had their first album and didn't care for it. I really didn't like the singing or the songs on their first album. Brad Mates has really improved! That is an understatement! He is right on here on this album. I did like "Fall Into Me" but that was about it on their first one. I haven't listened to their 2nd album. Maybe I will get around to checking that one out as well. This current album is like a Great, Greatest Hits Album.
I highly recommend it. I bought it new through the Amazon Marketplace. Pick a copy up. You will not be disappointed!!!!!
