I purchased this hat (actually two of them) for my 7 year old sons for a trip to Montana this year. We never took them, since we had limited packing space. Be Warned: They are felt and pick up lint easily so I am always trying to wipe fuzzers off of them! They fit both boys fine and also fit my head too. I took them into the high school I teach at and a couple of my students wore them for a western-themed day. They still look great and my boys like putting them on for playtime. For the price, you can't beat them...they would work for young and old...good for costumes or western-themed parties!

You get what you paid for... My son is only 6, so he loved it and uses it to play all the time. It is big enough for me to wear as well.

I wanted a hat that I could wear for a cowboy themed event. I wasn't expecting much given the price. The quality is better than what I thought it would be, but it's far too small for me to actually wear. Given other reviews, I thought it would be bigger.

I bought these for my 5 year old grandsons, they are into cow boys at this stage and just love their hats!

OMG, this hat was much larger than I thought. I used them for table decorations, but can also wear them as part of an outfit. They looked good and I am very pleased.

My son needed this hat to reenact Doc Holliday. We're not into Western, so we don't own boots, hats, etc. This served the purpose perfectly. It wasn't near Halloween, so we had no options to find the hat locally, and didn't want to spend a ton of money. Came in large Priority Mail box, perfect shape, sturdy build. Obvious costume quality, but you really couldn't tell from far away. Overall, we're very pleased with it.
