This CD has one of the most fascinating country Christmas carols and songs, i have ever heard. I first heard it back in 1997 when i was listening to this on the cassette. Now i have the CD and its wonderful to listen to this, no matter what time of the year i may be in. For Christmas i always buy new music, and this is an early entry into my collection for 2011.
Being an Indian, from India, i have grown up listening to Country music, since my childhood. My Dad was and still is very fascinated with country music and so am i. What more is, my would be wife is from Southern United States, and she too loves country music. This CD is one of my most favorite collection of country music. "Silver Bells", "Santa Claus is coming to town", are some of the most amazing music on this CD. "Have yourself a merry Christmas" and "Please come home for Christmas" are also some notable ones. I would say, if anyone loves Country music, just like i do, then this should be in their collection. Thanks and have a Merry Christmas 2011. God Bless all, and may God Bless America.

i have tons of christmas cd's and this is one of my favorite is has great artists. i can't stand to listen to the "popular artists" and remakes but this cd is great and i am susprised to say that the dwight yoakam is about the best silent night version i have heard. love neal mccoy and wish he had a christmas cd just him, but love this cd--in fact i am getting 2 of them just to have a backup.
