This is mislabeled in the packaging and on the CD itself. It's a remake of Cowboy Favorites not Country Favorites. But I'm glad they're making it on CD. Clint's songs are classic and enjoyable to hear. This was previously only available on LP and people have paid big money for it. They should have kept the original LP photos of Clint from the Rawhide days when he sang it instead of what they chose which are photos of him years later but the CD is what's important.

This is a similar product to another Clint Eastwood
product. So it was confusing. Ended up with both. I
wish I can have back my money from one and buy something
else. BUT happy with one.

These are old country & western standards performed by Clint Eastwood very early in his career. The voice is undoubtedly Clint and he carries a tune well. The western tunes aren't my favorite, but it was a joy to hear Clint sing them.

No, the first William Shatner spoken word--rap--whatever album has to be the worst, but boy is this bad. To be fair, I was looking for a gag gift for someone who just moved to Texas, and it fit the bill perfectly.

This was Clint Eastwood's first album, released back when he was the star of Rawhide. It features a passel of classic cowboy songs. Having not yet developed his famed menacing whisper, Clint sings in a bland tenor that sounds amazingly like Pat Boone. And that's not a good thing. Seriously, this is a terrible album. The CD adds four bonus tracks, which are themes from four Clint Eastwood westerns as performed by "The Western Sound Orchestra". They are well performed, but they don't really belong on this CD.
