Giant Panda's new album, "Country," is ripe with beautiful lyrics and unparalleled musicianship, and it creates a feeling akin to long summer nights, windows-down-driving, and the anticipation of something - something big - that is about to happen. We live in beautiful but tumultuous times, and Giant Panda's layered, roots-country, Americana sound on this album is a true snapshot of the feeling of this moment. I love "Country" and can't wait for the upcoming electric album too!

I've been a Giant Panda fan for many years. They put on a killer live show and blend all sorts of styles of music. "Country" is a great example of how talented these guys are. Instead of their usual reggae-jam sound, they've dropped something completely different- a mix of roots, bluegrass, folk, americana, acoustic goodness.

In this day and age where everything sounds the same and is unoriginal, its refreshing to hear a band that can play a wide variety of different musical styles and genres. GPGDS' musicianship is top notch and this album is further proof of that. Some of my favorite tracks are Far Away, Country, Kids In The Square, and Healing. But all 10 tracks are great and I usually just listen to the album straight through, on repeat. Thank you Panda!

Not a big fan of the Country album, and I'm seriously not sure why bands have to do something differently than what they're successful at. Seriously disappointed with the change, I guess if its something they want to pursue so be it, but they were good at making people dance and the music they made...so why deter your fan base with something totally out of left field with nothing of what we're used to? If it ain't broke, don't fix it...we love you guys and you did reggae well, don't kill what you made us feel when you started.
