Carotenoid complex is a very important supplement for maintaining several aspects of good health. Carotenoids help maintain good eyesight and also help prevent macular degeneration -- a major cause of blindness in adults -- and also cataracts. They also help protect us against heart attacks and cancer -- including breast and prostate cancer. I take this product daily and so far, at age 79, have not had a heart attack or cancer and do not need to wear glasses. I'm a retired chemist, not a medical doctor, but I highly recommend that everyone take this product plus at least 1,000 mg of vitamin C daily.
