GLUCOSAMINE CHONDROITIN FORMULA CAPS - Glucosamine and Chondroitin Sulfate in their ideal ratio. Biochem Glucosamine/Chondroitin Formula provides the necessary building blocks for connective tissue. This synergistic complex provides the precursors for the production of bone, cartilage, tendon, joint tissue, skin, blood vessel walls and mucous membranes.** Directions: Adults take one (1) to three (3) capsules daily or as directed by a health care professional. For best utilization, take between meals. As a reminder, discuss the supplements and medications that you take with your health care providers. Other Ingredients: Cellulose (capsule shell), stearic acid. Contains shellfish (shrimp, crab). Does Not Contain: Yeast, corn, wheat, soy, gluten, milk, sugar, starch, preservatives or artificial color. Warnings: Do not consume this product if you are allergic to shellfish. I've tried several other supplements, but this is by far the most effective one. On top of that, Amazon's price is unbeatable. I had stopped taking it for a while because of the price, but with recent research suggesting that glucosamine/chondroitin helps rebuild cartilage, I figured it was worth the expense. Maybe it will keep me from needing a joint replacement some day. By the way, it says "contains shellfish" right in the product description.

Led to believe that it was shellfish free - when in fact it contains shellfish. Had to return for that reason.
