This book is filled with lots of fresh and new ideas for home. You can pick it up and turn to any page and find some tip to implement in your life. This is a book I will reach for over and over again!

This little book is chock-full of new and interesting ideas! A 'green' section as well. I thought I knew most of this 'stuff' - but learned things I either never heard of or thought of! Nice pictures too. It would be perfect to include with a wedding gift or for somebody setting up their first home. Or for me - I'm going to buy a copy:)

It's fun,interesting to read and does have some great ideas. Country Living Books, which hasn't disappointed me yet,are beautiful books. There was also an offer for either a free subscription or a small rebate. This book is smaller than most CL books so it is easy to slip in a tote bag and take w/ you.

What a disappointment. This book has loads of conflicting ideas. For instance, there is a section about hanging the laundry outside to dry. The editors recommend washing the clothes pins once a month, wiping the clothesline ropes with pine cleaner, and fluffing the towels in an electric clothes dryer after they dry on the clothes line. Did your Grandma do this?

The book is a home decorating book with pretty pictures.

I enjoyed reading and looking at the whole book. There are many ideas to help me decorate my farm home....I especially like using primitive antiques.Thank you very much. Connie Squires

Delightful photos & handy household management tricks. I borrowed this book from our library. I marked so many pages for copying that I decided it's smarter to buy this useful little book! And I've been "keeping house" for 34 years. Even gave me some great & easy tips for improving my baking--& I thought I was pretty good! CAVEAT: Country Living magazine has gone out of business as of summer 2009. The free subscription offered with book purchase no longer is possible.

I'm enjoying this book. I don't know why but it is just what the doc. ordered. Somethings wouldn't work for me but some are simple and things I had not though of.

Nice color photos of many different styles and ideas. The biggest help was many of the written tips, many I had never heard of before. Worth getting for some of that knowledge, and I will keep it for a reference book.

Beautiful to look at and hold. Lots of country wisdoms here and it's going to be a gift at Christmas.

PUrchased for a friend. She was so excited that she could hardly put it down. Bonus subscription was like two gifts in one.
