James Last has been recording now for well over 35 years, and, like a very good wine, he gets better and better! This offering, released last fall, is a great collection of country favorites, done in the best way possible, by the world's best muisician! Songs that are particularly appealing, to me, are "Lying Eyes", and "The Most Beautiful Girl". But all the tracks are special, for they reflect the enthusiasm particular to James Last. What is most noticable in this recording, as with most of Hansi's recordings, is the STRINGS! If you like violins, this record is a MUST! I don't think anyone compares to Hansi when it comes to the STRINGS! But there's more, as in most James Last recordings, you are in for a added bonus! Spectacular brass, and Hansi's trademark bass guitar, as well as other guitars, a perfect mix. Considering that I have just about every recording Hansi has produced, it never amazes me, for I have come to expect this quality of music. With this album, Hansi has not dissappointed this listener, it is another gem that any lister must hear for himself/herself, and see if he/she doesn't agree that James Last brings forth an extra dimension to the instrumentals so popular in the past, and yet, so contemporary in the manner Hansi performs for us! I say, in a word...YAHOO!!!!!

This is absolutely one of his best albums ever... Wish he had made more CD's of country music. absolutely beautiful!!!

This CD is so great You will not believe your ears. James Last has really outdone himself on this Country cross over CD. I just wish he would do more of these country songs. Can't imagine what he could do with some old Eddie Arnold -- Dolly Parton --- Tammy Wynette. This CD just couldnt get any better....

Any fan of Hansi must own this CD. Full of songs not on any of his other CDs. I have a large James Last collection and this is one of my very favorites.

If you are someone who likes instrumental Country/Western, this is for you. Vintage Classic Country has some great melodies and arrangements as this one does. I am always on the search for this style of music.

I have several James Last CDs. This is my favorite. The variety is wonderful and proves that a symphony orchestra can improve on the original vocal hit by its rich and numerous instruments.

I have several CDs and DVDs by James "Hans" Last. This one is OK but not the same quality of arrangements as some of his other works.
