This is one of the Japanese-compiled series focused on each aspect of Elvis such as rock'n'roll, ballads or country. Its liner-notes say that the compiler appriciates Elvis's awaking to his own roots since the late sixties. Started from U.S. Male, Memphis to Nashville, from Hank Williams to Tony Joe White. Thanks to this compilation, I can rediscover Elvis's charm of diversity or ecleticism. Each song's lyrics is inside. It's a fine stuff.
