It's a great product that actually works as advertized.

The included fly control product for the metered sprayer works against mosquitoes as well, which was the reason for the purchase. Our screened pool enclosure seemed to be filled with mosquitoes, which filled our house, because we like to keep the screen doors open to let the breeze through the house. It was like living outdoors in our south Florida climate - the mosquitoes were that bad! We installed the metered device as directed, right outside the sliding doors from the family room to the lanai, and supplement with occasional light spraying of plants inside the lanai, with flying insect spray, to get the mosquitoes that rest in the foliage during the day. You will also benefit from trimming back overgrowth around the area where you use the device, to reduce the mosquito population in and around the area you are trying to protect. Also, make sure you are emptying sources of stagnant water, and giving any pets or livestock fresh water regularly to keep mosquitoes from breeding on your property. The metered sprayer takes care of the rest, and our house is no longer filled with mosquitoes, nor is the screened lanai. Our kitties areno longer deviled by the buggers either, and can enjoy sunning outdoors on the brick deck once again. Highly recommend!

In 1996 my family and I moved to a horse farm. While moving our furniture into our new abode, we also managed to move in enough flies to turn the ceiling black. I was at my wit's end as to how we were going to get rid of them all. Our only neighbor on the farm came over with a can of the flying insect spray used in this dispenser, walked through the house and sprayed two times in each room and then we closed up the place for the night. When we returned the next morning, there were no more flies on the ceiling, but we had a lot of dead or dying ones to clean up. That afternoon I went to our local feedstore and purchased the dispenser and two refills. We have been using the spray inside our home since that time. We currently live in a farming area where flies are a minor problem, but mosquitoes are a big one. During the rainy season you can't step outside the door without immediately becoming a snack. This system works very well on mosquitoes also. We run our dispenser 24/7 from April through October and rarely see a mosquito or other flying insect in the house. When they do make it in, their life expectancy is usually under 12 hours no matter where they travel inside our house. While I haven't used this system in an outdoor area, one of my friends has. She found an old dispenser with the door ripped off in the stall area of the house she bought. She put batteries in it and loaded it with the flying insect killer. By that afternoon when the flies and mosquitoes were at their worst, the mustangs and burro had all retreated to the stall where no pests would bite them.

The batteries in my unit tend to last more than two years on average. I buy the 30 day refills for the flying insect killer and they do last 30 days when used around the clock.

A friend recommended this product to me - she had used it at the animal shelter - she told me that it worked really well on mosquitoes - She was right ! We got 45+ inches of rain in just a few months and the skeeters were awful - until I turned on my Country Vet Flying Insect Control Kit! My DogYard and most of the rest of the property became mosquito free in a staggeringly short time! I was pleasantly surprised - gotta love that Pyrethrin! It's safe for pets because it comes from crushed crysanthemums! This product is a WINNER - I would recommend it for outdoor use and in sheds or garages - it is Great

We have chickens with organic vegetable and flower gardens. Everyone loves to come to our home and we enjoy the patio tremendously--except for the flies. I used fly traps, sprays, incense, you name it and decided to try this. Within two days, no one said anything about flies or mosquitoes. The automatic dispenser is easy to turn on and off. Now, our backyard, where we cook and entertain, is free from two nasty insects. It's a great product that actually works as advertized.

works as stated, Not sure how it does on mosquitos but will kill flies, wasps and even shot a carpenter beee and got him to, Now putting the canister in the sprayer where I belongs and see how it really works, I feel the canister and spray are both overpriced,

Bought one to use in my show rabbit shed. Works beautifully. My only complaint is the unit lasted just one season. Thought it was the batteries (hoping it was the batteries) but the unit itself is no longer working. Yes, I'm buying another because it did control the flies while it was working. Just wish the unit lasted longer.

Does what it says - But there is a cheaper and better way. Buy the Glade Automatic Air freshener for $11.99, throw away the bottle and fit the ZEP Fly refill also available on Amazon for less. The Glade has the adjustable timer and costs much less and you-get a set of batteries with it!

I've added my latest kit to the garage and am pleased that the spray has a milder odor than others I've bought. I originally started using these sprayers for the barn for fly control. They worked so well that I've added others. Some of the fly spray I've purchased separately has a strong odor, but what came with this set is better and suits my new location just outside my door to the garage since the scent can get into the house when I open the door just as it's going off.

The sprayer sprays a dose every 15 minutes and the batteries last really a long time. Each can of spray lasts about a month, then has to be replaced with a new can. There is an on/off switch inside the dispenser in the event you want to disable it for a time. Don't leave the batteries in for a long time though as you may end up having to buy a new unit like I just did, but with proper care they seem to last forever.

I keep my dog food in a big can in the garage and was horrified to find the last bag I purchased had pantry moths which flew out all over the place when I last opened the can. Already a few moths have gotten in the house so I'm desperate to get rid of them before any more do.

Because this dispenser system is so effective I've added additional ones to unlikely places. I have one under the house in the crawl space to kill whatever bugs are down there. This worked well so I then added one to the attic. Although the spray isn't going to kill the occasional mouse or squirrel that gets in there, I've found that the noise the dispenser makes when it triggers and smell of the spray are apparently unpleasant enough to critters that I no longer have any invaders, plus I don't have any moths damaging stored clothes. I've even manually sprayed the occasional dose in the house when insects flying around the porch lights get in.

This is a very useful product and well worth the money,
