Before choosing which log home magazines to subscribe to, my wife and I bought a copy of every one we could find. We didn't want all ads and floor plans - although some of each are helpful. We wanted featured houses close to what we hope to build (not 10,000 sq. ft. mansions) and we wanted articles that will help us design the ideal home for our needs. Country's Best Log Homes met those requirements. The first issue we received had several helpful articles including designing a home office in a log home. All the featured homes include plenty of beautiful photos and floor plans that help put the article and photos into perspective. We recommend this magazine to anyone dreaming about a log home as well as those serious about designing a comfortable log home that is uniquely yours.

If I could give 0 stars I would,

When I saw this magazine on amazon, it was not made clear that they don't have a set publishing schedule, which is CRAZY for a magazine. Even though it says you can cancel for any reason, I now am getting the runaround. Amazon says to go through the publisher. The 'publisher' says to go through Amazon. Do not buy this subscription unless you don't mind getting taken.

Similar to my review of Log Cabin Homes Illustrated, I can't give this magazine more then a one star rating as it has been nearly a month and a half and I have yet to receive a single issue of the magazine I ordered!
