Product Description

This small cheese from the "Dauphine" region is mild, acidic and salty. As it matures from a fresh to dry, ripe cheese, the flavor develops. Affinage takes two to six weeks. Pairs well with a "Chateauneuf du Pape" red wine.

This cheese in not for the faint of smell! It borders on foul, but that belies its creamy, deliciosity. It spreads like butter once at room temperature and we scraped every last bit out of the little tub. Yummmmy!
