I have read many a devotional book for Christian couples but this one truly caught my eye and kept my attention.
In this work our authors address many issues that married couples must face. They encourage them to talk about these issues and explain to the reader that this does not have to be done at length, or all at one time, but is encouraged to be done in short sessions. This is a plus for many with the busy schedules and demands of their time that are upon them.
They speak of such topics as Friendship, Praying Together, Give Without Expecting Back, and Support, just to name a few. There is a short discussion on the subject followed by a section where questions are asked so you may put down your own feelings and ideas on what you have read and discussed. There is also a Scripture to study that enhances what has been read.
The object of this book is to help couples learn to work and grow together in a closer relationship that will bless both them and their family. It is not what I call a 'heavy' book, bogged down with countless do this and do that instructions, but it is like a refreshing drink to a parched and dry spirit. It is a beautiful book, very well done, simple, yet extremely insightful, full of the Word and wisdom of God. Recommended for all couples.

This book has been eye opening experience for my girlfriend, Erin and I. We are big on self help books and devout Christians, but we've never been able to grow together. As a result we have made leaps and bounds in our relationship. We have opened lines of communication that never would have been open before! Couples Chat allows us to notice areas we are already sound in, but also identify the areas where we can improve! And best of all it works well in our busy hectic lives because each chapter only takes a few minutes!
