Well, I can't tell you much about this album, except it's worth the money. I bought it in Berlin at a record shop, and it didn't leave the cd player until I got back into the states. This is a must for any P5 completist. It's just beautiful!

"Couples" arrived in 1987 and it's a beautiful example of early P5 before Nomiya Maki became their singer. Whether you prefer Maki or Mamiko Sasaki (who sang on "Couples") it won't really matter since this is an instrumental remix w/orchestra that is decidedly more laid back than later recordings. If you're a fan(atic)of P5 this is a must but it's probably not meant for a casual fan. Regardless, it is a beautiful album of romantic Bacharach-styled instrumentals that works equally well as prime listening or as background.
