Time and money are limited resources that everyone needs. It is my hope that by learning how to use coupons, many smart shoppers will save money, so that it can be put to use on more important things, like saving, paying down debt, or investing.

I also hope that my techniques for organizing and only getting the items that you actually want will save time and eliminate pressure and stress, which some people new to using coupons experience.

When people ask me if I know how to coupon, I like to say "I wrote the book on it". I hope you enjoy reading Couponing for Busy People and you get a lot out of it.

About the Author

Elle Marshall is a bit of a nerd when it comes to finances and saving money. She is also interested in budgeting, time management, and self-development. All of these interests combine into a wealth of knowledge about all things finance and savings related.

Using coupons was something Elle never considered, until she heard about people saving big time from using coupons. Just for the heck of it, she thought she would do an experiment to see if she could save money using coupons.

Her first couple of shopping trips she failed miserably and ended up buying items she didn't particularily need and not saving that much. She became determined to master the art of couponing.

After a month or so, she had the process down and became intent on not missing any great deals. She soon learned that the "not missing any deals" attitude can cost a lot of time and stress. Eventually, she realized that she had way to much stuff in her stockpile, when she started running out of friends and family to give it to.

She hopes that Couponing For Busy People will help smart shoppers discover techniques to maximize savings, while having a casual attitude towards the whole process. It is really best to organize in a way that allows couponing to enhance your life without it taking over.

Ever since seeing Extreme Couponing for the first time, the idea of couponing was intriguing. But it's crazy how much time those people spend to get those deals. I think couponing is great, but I don't want it to be a full time job. This book is perfect for people like me. It's not about how to use coupons to food hoard on a budget. It's about using coupons to get the items you would normally buy at a discount.

The book is essentially broken down into two sections. The first section teaches you how to actually find coupons and how to keep them organized. The book has some great ideas on how to stay organized without spending a ton of time. The second section teaches you how to match coupons with sales and how to coupon stack. It also has a great summary of the coupon policies of a large number stores - most of which have locations nationwide.

In short, this book is perfect for anyone who wants to coupon but doesn't want to make it a full time job.

I've been fascinated with couponing ever since I saw a television show on the subject, and people were getting whole grocery items for free (or little cost).

This guide is targeted towards busy people (arn't we all these days) so seemed an obvious starting point to learn more about it.

It covers the basics well, and goes into more depth on the three main retailers: Walgreens, CVS Pharmacy, and Rite Aid, including how you can stack coupons and use their store loyalty programs for even bigger savings and discounts.

I really liked the included cheat sheets on how to best deal with each store, and it had a good list of resources of websites that you can use to find the best deals for your area.

I must admit that I was really impressed with this book. It offers a simple way to organize your Couponing that is easy to follow. I also love that the author goes beyond just explaining how to coupon the right way. She also has dedicated chapters to explaining how to save the most money at specific stores like Publix, Walmart, CVSPharmacy, Walgreens, and many more. At the end of each chapter, she does a great job offering quick tips called "cheat sheets" for each of the stores mentioned above. Overall, fabulous read if you want to get started saving money on groceries.

What a great little book, and so well laid out and easy to follow. You can sure tell this author practices what she preaches, as the tone of the book is so straightforward & easy to understand.

Especially pleasing was the inclusion of pictures to expand on some of the written ideas, and the links to live resources that are recommended.

If anyone has ever tried couponing and become totally lost and confused, then this is the book for you.

If anyone has NEVER tried couponing, then this is without doubt the book for you.

I read this book in less than an hour. It was so easy to read and understand.

After I had my first baby (I now have a 4 yr old and 2 yr old), I looked into couponing and it seemed so overwhelming! I never even started. I just didn't have the time or energy to devote to it. I wish I would've read this book back then!

Marshall breaks couponing down into very easy to understand and very doable steps. If you've been scared off by the crazy "Extreme Couponing" or have ever felt like it was going to be too much work, you have to read this book. You'll realize that everybody can coupon. It doesn't have to be all or nothing.

I'd recommend this to anyone who shops. ;)

I was never really all that interested in couponing, but mostly because I thought it would take up too much time when I don't have all that much to spare (who does these days?). The other day as I was browsing the Kindle books I saw this and said--perfect!

I read it all in one sitting and I can't wait to get started. The organizational tips will be particularly helpful. Right now all the coupons are pinned to the refrigerator--that won't last long. Thank you for this. It's much needed and fills a great niche.

I too had heard of the serious coupon shoppers who saved money, yet at an expense of time, I was unwilling to spend. This book is simply amazing in the way it shows you how to organize your coupons and how to start using them immediately. Very helpful guide!!!

I normally am not the shopper of the house, my wife is the one who works hard to save us money with our groceries. After seeing her get busier with our family I decided to take over the grocery shopping. Always trying to save a little money I bought this book to learn more about coupons and getting those killer deals everyone is talking about.

I was not disappointed at all, now time to hit the stores and save some money.
