About the Author

An ex-Marine, former letter carrier, the author, Tom Lambke, has fulfilled his lifelong dream of writing a book. Now employed as a habilitation tech for the handicapped, Tom continues to also work as a nationally certified umpire in slow pitch softball, fast pitch softball and baseball, while still helping to coach various Special Olympics activities. He enjoys hiking the Grand Canyon each year and maintains a regular walking and hiking regime with his wife of 27 years, Karen. They also have a daughter, Shauna, who is 19 and are just as proud of her as they are of Bryan.

Tom Lambke creates an excellent piece that documents the journey of his son to become a Special Olympian gold medalist. There is no pity or helplessness in this book; it is simply a joyous celebration of his son's life and accomplishments.

Spirit, Courage and Resolve is written by my Uncle about my cousin Bryan. Although I have not finished reading the book I can assure you by the end of the first page you'll be inspired.
