Love it with reservations, March 7, 2011
This review is from: Courageous Princess Volume 3: Kingdom Of Leptia (v. 3) (Paperback)
As much as I adore this particular comic (I do), I am really disappointed in this volume. In short, I met Rod Espinosa at a con, and bought a hard-cover from him. I loved the story so much that I later bought every copy I could, but since it's rare, they're hard to find. But what I DID NOT know is that the copies I originally had contained the entire trilogy. A trilogy, I might add, that ends on a cliff-hanger. I was under the impression that volume 2 and 3 would finish the story, but they were priced so obscenely ($90-$200) I couldn't afford to find out. So when the third comic dropped to a reasonable price, I bought two copies, only to discover that it was no continuation of the original, marvelous story, but the last third of what I already had.
So this review is intended to clarify that the story ends after the flute is used to drive off the dragon, apparently. If anyone finds out otherwise, let me know, but otherwise, I'm going to be sitting in the corner with my lower lip pushed out.
