This is a real good idea, but it doesn't quite perform up to expectations. I took my walker on the road and it worked for a while and then the balls started to fall out of the holders. The balls wore out as a result of using them on rough surfaces at truck & rest stops. Eventually both balls would not stay in place and I had to remove the steel locking springs and use the walker without the balls. The system works just fine around the house, but I can't recommend them when traveling or being outside.

This item works great. Just make sure you have EXTRA tennis balls if you use your walker on pavement as they will wear rather quickly in this manor.

My wife is disabled and used a lot of tennis balls to keep her going on her walker. By using this product, we've cut down on the number of tennis balls purchased. As well, we've not cut our fingers cutting tennis balls to fit her walker. This product is sooo good that I've purchased several not only for us but also for a friend. I'll continue to purchase this item...it's a GREAT product.

I purchased these for my mom's walker. They are sturdy and hold up inside and out. Would not hesitate to recommend them to others!

I purchased these for my father's walker after trying a few other popular forms of glides (including the extremely dangerous method of cutting a tennis ball and jamming it onto the end of the rear legs), and they are by far the best, most practical glides we used. You just keep rotating the ball when one surface wears down to get the most use out of it, then easily remove the completely worn out ball and pop in another tennis ball, and so on...
