She lives in Los Angeles.

Delightfully written and illustrated book of creative activities for children in those lemonade-stand ages who need more ideas and ways to amuse themselves. Parents can suggest certain of the activities for their children and point them out in the book,or a child who can read can take off on their own following the suggestions/instructions humorously written for that activity. The activities require few props/materials beyond the child's imagination, and would be things the child could do alone or with parents and friends. What fun this book holds for a child!!! I hope yours gets to experience it! I bought several copies for our waiting room in our kid's counseling office, and both parents and kids are raving about the book. After twenty years of counseling kids and 30 years of parenting myself I have finally found a kids activity book that is REALLY for kids, and REALLY taps into their imaginations. Congrats to this author for a job well-done. This one is a keeper!

This is a really cute activity book which has been personalized by the author with pictures of herself, family, and friends from the author's childhood. Activities that should be both fun and creative for kids. In my opinion, parents' participation in some of these activites requiring varying lengths of time, talent and thought would improve the child's level of fun and learning.

I always watch out for Courtney whenever she appears on the "The View"; a few months ago I ordered her book for my family and I can honestly say it's fantastic. I have never seen kids respond so quickly and so enthusiastically to a book. It's colorful, eye-catching and really fun (for all of us). She shows kids how to turn ordinary household items into magical creations. Plus, unlike other books of this kind that require your own personal laboratory, or a few hundred yards of gossamer ribbon, these projects can actually be completed by normal people with normal resources and a moderate income. Anyone with kids who have "seen this" and "done that" should get this book ASAP.
