don't own the book, but just saw the museum show...,

i haven't bought this book (yet), but i just saw the corresponding show at the fashion institute of technology's museum, and it's incredible. it's a great span of accessories that are put together chronologically. the whole thing really gives you a perspective on how the accessories sort of link up with apparel from the time.really- if you have a chance to see the show in nyc, do. otherwise, buy the book!
