Sometimes I like a good horror book and this had my heart pumping. Everything from this author (several pen names) has been well worth the small kindle price. I would gladly pay more.

This one had me up all night. Slept with the light on. ;) What a horror is supposed to be. I also recommend Profile by C. D. Blizzard.

Jack Sotherland is a Homicide detective who just ran into his biggest problem ever. A serial killer is on the loose, and the citizens of Miami expect Jack to track him and bag him. But Jack has no leads, no evidence, and no killer to trail. When he encounters a force that seems supernatural, he balks at the notion. But something is killing people. Something big. Big enough to rip a full-grown man down the middle and never even break a sweat. Jack doesn't know how to fight what he cannot see. Even worse, he may be next on the list.
