About the Author

Msgr. Cormac Burke was born in Ireland and is a priest of the Prelature of Opus Dei. This book is incredible! I mean truly - every Catholic should read this book, and certainly all those Catholics who are married or who plan to marry!

Msgr Burke is truly gifted. I have read a lot on the theology of the body, humanae vitae, etc, and yet - I picked up this book and it blew me away! His explanations of Church teaching and of the meaning and purpose of marriage are just fantastic.

This book is not "light reading" - but it IS very interesting and well worth the time and effort to read. I've digested it a small portion at a time, and I've found every single section full of wisdom and incredible, inspiring explanations. And in every section I have found things that will improve and enrich my marriage and my family life, as well as my relationship to God.

I think this book will change the way we look at marriage - even as a faithful Catholic, I have had my eyes "opened" to a large extent to God's broader plan and purpose with marriage. It has been an amazing, life altering book to read. I cannot recommend it highly enough.
