This review is from: The Covenants (Paperback)
This book gives an excellent analysis of the 9 major covenants found in scripture. It is very systematically presented and gives an brilliant overview for understanding the structure of the Bible. As a Bible school teacher myself i have done much research looking for good material on this subject, this book is by far the best one. If you want to understand the framework of the Bible and know how it all flows together this is THE book to own.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Must Read for Ministry and Laity Alike, December 3, 2002
This review is from: The Covenants (Paperback)
It is written in the Bible that the people of God perish for lack of knowledge. The knowledge that the Word is speaking of is not the knowledge of this world, or of science, but rather knowledge of the Word of the L-rd.

Reading this book, I can understand this scripture a little more deeply. In order to be a proper subject of the Kingdom of G-d, you must be familiar with the principles that the Kingdom operates by. Covenants should be the starting place because all of G-d's dealings with mankind is in the form of a Covenant.

This book is an excellent study into Covenants; what they are, who they are for, what they mean, and why I need to be concerned about Covenants as a Christian.

This book is for ministry and laity alike, and it should be read slowly and prayerfully. A fantastic resource for the Body of Christ.

5.0 out of 5 stars It was like reading about contracts of Power, June 1, 2005
This review is from: The Covenants (Paperback)
This book was definitely worth reading. It brought clarity to the various covenants in the bible. I particular liked reading the promises and commandments of the New Testament/Covenant. It brought to light for me of how much authority the body of Christ could be walking in through the promises of the New Covenant.

When reading about the covenants in this book, it's like reading a contract of Power. It's an excellent book, very detailed and organized.

5.0 out of 5 stars most excellent discussion of covenants, October 12, 2000
This review is from: The Covenants (Paperback)
You would search in vain for a better treatment of the covenants. All of the covenants are discussed with the ongoing themes of "the words of the covenant", "the blood of the covenant", and "the seal of the covenant." Bible students of all persuasions will appreciate the author's insight into these most important contracts with God Himself.

The book is brilliant. I am using it as the basis for a church bible study and it is really making the folks think. We are looking at the bible in a way some have never considered before with the result that there are people dipping into the bible as they have never done before. It is a challenging book well written in a way that can easily be used to teach others from.

A great Bible reference tool; every serious Bible student should have this one in their library. The book is a comprehensive look at the major covenants; begining with the Edenic covenant in Genesis and on through to the New Covenant in the New Testament Gospels. I found this book an invaluable study tool.

5.0 out of 5 stars EXCELLENT RESOURCE, June 1, 2010
By

This review is from: The Covenants (Paperback)
When it comes to covenants, this is the standard that I go to all the time. While I do own other fantastic resources on covenant, I find the systematic approach to this book, and the well formulated outline system the book is written in, to be the most informative resource I own on this subject.

If you think you know a lot about the biblical covenants, I would still recommend getting this wonderful resource. I have loved to study covenants my whole life, and yet I was amazed at how much I learned about this topic. By the way, if you are concerned about context, don't be! They give you the scripture references after each and every topic and subtopic. As someone who believes in checking things out for yourself, I love that they put the verses right next to the info. Seriously, get the book! You will not regret having this valuable tool in your library!
