After searching for the perfect makeup for summer, I finally found it!!! Cover Fx Mineral Powder Foundation. My skin is very oily in the summer and most liquid and powder foundations turn my skin into a greasy mess after an hour or so. Not so with Cover Fx. After trying at least half a dozen different foundations and returning them, Cover Fx is now my new staple. I love the matte look that it gives and I am virtually shine free all day. The coverage is medium to full depending on how much you apply, but it is buildable. The key to applying this so that it goes on flawless is the proper brush. The sponge that comes with it is useless and I would not recommend that it be used to apply the makeup. A flat top powder or blusher brush works perfect because it allows the minimum amount of powder to be used without wasting it and the coverage is awesome. I use the Sonia Kashuk Flat Top Blusher Brush from Target that sells for $14.99. Perfect!! BTW, this powder can be a little bit drying so make sure to use a good moisturizer prior to applying.

I've been using Bare Minerals for several years and loved the mineral makeup for my oily skin. however, after my last trip, i got so weary of lugging all that makeup around in the pots and all the brushes, i knew there was a comparable product that would simplify my beauty regime. I popped in my local Sephora store and the sales agent directed me to this product and even did a mini-makeover - over my BE! it was astounding the coverage and it was not cakey, but very natural and fresh. I was thrilled. One compact for pressed minerals and i am done! it has reduced my BE regime from 3 pots to 1 for that step.The website for Cover F/x is very good and informative and when i sent them an enote on how much i enjoyed thier product, one of the founders actually sent back a timely response. The price is excellent and can be used with any of the other products you enjoy using. I was told that if you have dry skin thier makeup primer is excellent and so is the under eye primer and eyeshadow base. They are too oily for me.

I was recently introduced to this product and I just love it. I was looking for something that would feel light, and make my skin look great and even without looking like I was wearing much makeup, and this powder does all that. Now I just use this powder foundation along with a little cover fx bronzer and I'm good to go.
